Multidimensional Ultrasound

Ultrasounds are a fundamental part of assisted reproduction treatments. They are used to evaluate and monitor treatments and track the patient’s ovarian response to medication.

Correct observation

in ultrasound increases the possibility of achieving good results in reproduction, and therefore, high resolution ultrasound favours the detection of hydrosalpinx, myomas or polyps that could affect the outcome of artificial insemination or in vitro fertilisation.

3D ultrasound also provides a volumetric view of the female apparatus, detecting and showing possible defects (altered morphology such as septate or T-shaped uterus …) more efficiently. The detection of anomalies of this type represents a very significant advance in assisted reproduction techniques, since it favours a detailed and exhaustive diagnosis, allowing personalised pathways to be devised for each individual patient.

5D ultrasound provides an automatic volumetric image of the ovarian follicles, offering more complete information in the control of follicles for treatments.
