Donation of eggs, semen, and embryos

Donation of gametes:

Gamete donation is the transfer of eggs and sperm by anonymous people who want to help patients with infertility problems fulfil their dream of becoming parents. It is a reproductive alternative available when it is not possible to use the patients’ own gametes.

The donation of gametes is an anonymous, altruistic, and voluntary process, in accordance with the provisions of Spanish Law 14/2006 on Assisted Human Reproduction Techniques.

Suitable for:

Avoiding the transmission of genetic disease to offspring.

Poor quality of the patients’ own eggs or sperm.

Advanced maternal age.

Low ovarian reserve.

Repeat miscarriage.

To look for donors with the greatest possible physical resemblance to the parents, we use a facial biometrics platform (Fenomatch®) that allows us to select the best options among potential donors, in a totally scientific and objective way.

Donors who decide to donate their gametes for use in infertility treatments have undergone a thorough study according to the most recent stipulations of the CNRHA (National Commission for Assisted Human Reproduction).

This study includes:

Embryo donation:

There is also the possibility of transferring embryos donated by other couples. These embryos come from couples who have decided to donate them because they have a surplus of cryopreserved embryos and do not want any more offspring. It is an altruistic and anonymous donation.

Suitable for:

When both partners have fertility problems.

Women with fertility problems and without a male partner.

Previous failures in IVF cycles using the patient’s own eggs.

Repeat miscarriage.

To avoid the transmission of genetic diseases to offspring.
